My journey into the digital art realm and the birth of Muro were sparked by my academic background in Innovation Management and extensive experience in the tech and creative sectors, particularly with Web3, AI, and curation markets.. For the last four years I have been participating and researching creative industry projects to understand the digital art ecosystem's needs. The turning point came during the COVID pandemic, when the challenges faced by physical artists, such as restrictions on in-person events, highlighted the urgent need for digital monetization strategies. Recognizing this, together with a group of fantastic professionals and patrons of the arts, I began guiding and educating artists towards NFTs and digital marketplaces, aiming to unlock new avenues for their work's monetization and exposure. Acknowledging a gap in digital art accessibility and the potential for a new economic model, Muro was envisioned. It was beyond simply selling art as NFTs; it was about revolutionizing how digital art is accessed, appreciated, and monetized, enabling artists to stream their work to a broader audience. Same goes while waiting in the reception of a spa, hotel or restaurant. Therefore, with this idea in mind, we developed a platform that adapts to these nuances, promoting slow consumption and emotions tailored to the environment. The goal is to transform the need to fill empty moments of our time with art, instead of the non-stopping scrolling on any screen.
