Muro in partnership with 100 Collectors and Poolside Lisbon announce an exciting collaboration featuring special digital art exhibitions and panel discussions.

This year-long program will feature 7 digital art collections, 7 expert panel discussions and 7 community gatherings.

We will kick off 2024 with our first collection “Imagine!” featuring artists Irene Molina and Zac Farmer, opening on January 24th at Poolside Lisbon.

The first collection, curated by Pauline Foessel, challenges traditional notions of sculpture by exploring the concept of digital sculpture, pushing the boundaries beyond tangible materials. The participating artists question whether sculpture can transcend its classic form, prompting a reconsideration of artistic expression in the digital realm. By inviting artists to break free from material constraints, the collection aims to redefine the contemporary perception of sculptural art and initiate a dialogue about the evolving nature of creativity.

Accompanying our first exhibition, is our first panel discussion, “A Global Impact: Digital Art’s New Visibility” featuring Muro´s founder & CEO Gianlucca Buoccadifuoco and founder of Arroz Estúdios, Steven Mackay as guest speakers and Pauline Foessel as moderator.

From traditional biennials to art fairs and groundbreaking festivals, digital art is now part of the most defining events of the world. This talk will gather specialists from both art worlds, digital and physical, to discuss how traditional venues embrace technologies like AI, gaming, and generative art. What is the importance of incorporating new technologies into such exhibitions? How can the established art ecosystem adapt to bring the digital in? How does this impact audiences?

Join us for a year of great digital art and discussions!
