Muro Box Setup Guide

Step into the exclusive realm of MURO.

This guide is your gateway to a refined solution for showcasing digital art in upscale spaces, creating an atmosphere of sophistication and unparalleled refinement.

Step 1: Box Installation

Identify where you want your display to be placed.

Make sure installation spot has good WiFi reception.
Ambient light might affect your experience. Keep that in mind when selecting your installation spot.

Step 2: Connection Setup

Let's get started on setting up your Muro Box.

Plug in the provided power adapter to your Muro Box.
Connect your Muro Box to your display via the provided HDMI cable.
Using the provided remote control, turn on your Muro Box.
If your display doesn’t turn on automatically, turn on your display, and select the HDMI input you used to connect to Muro Box from source options of your display.
Done! You should be greeted with the Muro Launcher.

Connection Troubleshooting

If you are having difficulty connecting to the selected display:

Make sure the power adapter is plugged in correctly.
Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the correct HDMI input port on the display.
If not, try switching to the correct port via your display’s source settings.
Please feel free to contact MURO Support for assistance if the issue does not resolve after following these steps.

Step 3: Network Setup

Let's continue with setting up the Wifi.

Select the “Network Settings” option on Muro Launcher Menu.
Select the desired network you would like to connect to.
Enter your Wifi password to connect to your desired network.
You should be connected to your desired network. Navigate back to the main menu to launch MURO.

Connection Troubleshooting

If you are having difficulty connecting to the selected network:

Make sure you have good Wifi signal at point of installation.
Make sure the password you have entered is correct.
Please contact MURO Support for assistance if the issue does not resolve after following these steps. 

Step 4: Connecting devices to your Account

We are almost there! Let’s connect your devices to your account.

Once you launch MURO on from the Launcher menu, you will be greeted with two QR codes: one for individual users, and one for Commercial Accounts.
Scan the QR code labeled “Commercial Accounts” with your mobile device camera. You will be routed to the device pairing web interface.

Complete the following steps on the website presented on your mobile device:

Enter a name for your device. We suggest naming your device so that it indicates its location.
i.e. “projector-2-main_hall” or “display-room-102”
Enter the 8-digit Business Code provided to you by your MURO Account Manager.
Enter the 6-digit Device Code shown on your display to finalize device connection.

You can now start streaming your collections to your connected devices.
